Description
The Quantum Professional Scale (200g / 0.01g) is the bigger brother of the Quantum pocket scale: the same 200g capacity and 0.01g accuracy, but with an extra large weighing platform that makes it far easier to weigh into a jar, a bag or a bowl without balancing anything on the edge. At 13cm x 7cm x 2cm it still packs flat into a drawer, and the larger platform is the whole reason to spend the extra over the compact version.
Reading to a hundredth of a gram means the scale will show the difference between 0.50g and 0.51g, which is the level of precision that matters when small amounts are what you weigh most. Set it on a hard, level surface, let the display settle to zero, then use the tare function to zero out your container and read only what goes in. Because a 0.01g sensor is sensitive, keep it away from fans and open windows and off surfaces that vibrate, and check it every so often against a known weight; the 7 Piece Scale Weights Set covers the small calibration weights a scale like this needs.
In the Cloudy Choices scales range the quantum professional scale sits between the Quantum Precision Scale (200g / 0.01g), which is the compact pocket version at a lower price, and the Sharpscale Electronic Scale, which steps up again in build. If you weigh into containers more often than onto the platform itself, the bigger platform on this one is the difference you will notice every time.
The Quantum Professional Scale (200g / 0.01g) is $34.95 RRP. Every order is discreetly shipped in plain packaging, with free delivery over $100.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Quantum Professional and Quantum Precision scales?
Same 200g capacity and 0.01g accuracy. The Professional has an extra large weighing platform in a 13cm x 7cm body; the Precision is the compact 12cm x 6cm pocket version at a lower price.
What is the maximum it can weigh?
200 grams. Going over the maximum can damage the sensor, so weigh anything heavier on a kitchen scale.
How do I keep the reading accurate?
Use it on a hard, level surface away from draughts, let it settle to zero before weighing, tare out containers, and check it now and then against a calibration weight.
Is shipping discreet?
Yes. Every Cloudy Choices order ships in plain packaging with no product names on the outside, and delivery is free on orders over $100.
