Description
A large spinning ashtray earns its spot on looks before anyone even presses the button, and the silver finish is the version that gets left out on purpose. Then the party trick: rest a butt on the disc, press the plunger, and the spring loaded top spins it down into the enclosed base in one motion.
What lives in the base stays in the base – the sight of the butts and most of the smell with them, which is the whole reason enclosed designs beat open trays indoors. At 13cm across and 200 grams, this is the large format: a full session fits before it needs emptying, and it sits planted through every press.
A large spinning ashtray in silver suits the shared house and the balcony alike, and it makes the pick-a-colour question simple: this is the brighter twin of the black version in our ashtrays range, identical underneath. Emptying is a twist apart, a tip out and a rinse.
A large spinning ashtray does the disappearing act every session needs. Every order ships in discreet packaging, with free delivery on orders over $100 Australia wide.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the silver and black large spinning ashtray?
Colour only – both run the same 13cm spring loaded disc and sealed base. Silver reads brighter on the table; black hides marks longer between cleans.
Will the spring mechanism wear out?
It is a simple spring and disc with little to go wrong – an occasional rinse of both halves keeps the spin smooth.
Is it any good outdoors?
Better than an open tray by far – the sealed base keeps ash from lifting in a breeze, which is exactly what balcony sessions need.
